12. Polyester Low-Bleed Inks – a high
opacity, low bleed ink for 100% polyester athletic uniforms and any other fabric
which has a nasty dye migration problem. Print through a coarse mesh like 61-83
and a 50 micron capillary film for best ink coverage. Print slightly
off-contact. Do not add curable reducer (PLUS-9000), or dye migration might be
created. Stir the ink well before removing from the Union Ink container. The
conveyor belt in most cases should be run slower than normal with lower than
normal heat to prevent damage to the fabric, and yet achieve a full cure of the
ink to the fabric.
