Eliminate Spray Adhesive.....it is bad for your health !

You are inhaling adhesives which can cause cancer and emphysema.  You can stop endangering your health!

We developed Double Tape which is a plastic sheet with adhesive and paper on both sides.  Remove one sheet of paper, and apply to the platen.  Then remove the other sheet of paper.  At first, Double Tape is a little too adhesive, but if you drape a cotton T over the platen, and remove the T, several times, then the lint in the adhesive will make the Double Tape a little less adhesive and ready to use.

Click to enlarge photo.   Over 700 navy 100% cotton shirts were printed on this platen.  You can see the lint left behind.  To remove the lint, spray with plain water, and rub with your bare hand in a circular motion.  The lint rolls up into little balls.  Then dust the lint balls off with a rag and you will pick up the moisture at the same time.  Now the platen is adhesive again!

Customers report printing 1400 and more shirts before changing the Double Tape.  Each sheet is 15" x 15" and costs $3 per sheet.  That is less expensive than spray adhesive.  Rolls 15"x175' are half that price.  We recommend getting a few sheets to try the product.  Then you never again have adhesives in the air to inhale!

Then Clean Up Your Shop !    FREE !

All that overspray that attracted lint making your shop look like it was flocked can now be cleaned up by using mineral spirits, or if you don't like the stink of mineral spirits, we have a no odor, biodegradable cleaner so that your press will look like new again, and the floor and walls and every surface will be, finally, clean.

Then, get a household box fan.  The fan is 2'x2' by about 8".  They are sold at the discount stores, if you don't have one.  Then go  a hardware store for a furnace filter which is also 2'x2'.  Filters are rated.  You want one rated for 1-5 microns.  Tape the filter to the fan, and turn the fan on drawing the air through the filter to remove lint floating in the air from handling lots of shirts.  In a 2 car garage size shop, 4 of those fans will do a great job.  If you use liquid emulsion, you will have fewer or no pin holes by eliminating the lint in the air.

Sweat Shirts and Towels

Double Tape works for everything, except sweat shirts and towels.  For these items we have Sweat Sheet.  This is a very thin aluminum sheet with a coating like a small Velcro, but this is not Velcro.  There is a grain marked with an arrow.  When putting a sweat shirt on the platen in the direction of the grain, the sweat shirt slides on easily.  When you pull the sweat shirt against the grain, the sweat shirt locks in position.  Print.  Then to remove, pull the garment in the direction of the grain to unlock.  Then slide the garment off of the platen.  Sweat Sheets are offered in different sizes.  14"x14" costs $35.  Then never spend money on adhesives again or have adhesives floating in the air to inhale and making a mess of your shop.  When lint builds up in the Sweat Sheet, brush it out with a lint brush!

For regular customers only !

1.  We will show you how to make ink user friendly when you order ink from us.  Please don't ask for tech support for products we did not sell.  That would not be fair.  You should get help from the company that you paid.  We can show you how to convert white inks, athletic inks, and all pigment rich inks so they print like pudding.

2. We will show our regular customers how to print white on black shirts without flash curing!  Of course, you need the quality equipment only R Jennings Mfg. sells.

3.  If you get ghost images, we can tell you how to avoid them and having to buy the d-hazers and ghost removers, some of which are toxic.
